Long duration postdocs available in Berlin
Two postdoctoral positions of long duration are available in Berlin. The message from Chris Wendl below contains more details:
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to advertise two postdoc positions available at Humboldt University in Berlin. These positions are for up to 5 or 6 years starting in August 2016 or soon thereafter, and they require some proficiency in German since there are teaching duties involved (though there may be some slight flexibility on that detail).
More details and an English version of the two job announcements may be found at this webpage.
For the official announcements in German, see this page and this page.
The application deadline for both is March 29.
Lower Ricci working group, talk 3
The next lower Ricci working group talk will be 10.30-12.30, on Wednesday 24th Feb, in the Salle de Profs. Note the slightly earlier start time! It will be given by Bruno, and he will explain the global Laplacian comparison theorem, the strong maximum principle and the Cheeger-Gromoll splitting theorem.
We are still looking for speakers for the last few working groups. If you’re interested then send me an email.
Hope to see you all there next Wednesday!
