This is advanced warning that there will be a day long meeting on algebraic geometry at the University of Oxford, on 12th July 2016. It is a “COW” event (joint meeting between Cambridge, Oxford and Warwick geometry groups) and the confirmed speakers are:

• Dominic Joyce
• Nigel Hitchin
• Andrei Okounkov

There will be three events held consecutively in September 2016 to celebrate Nigel Hitchin’s 70th birthday.

• 5-8 September 2016. Aarhus, Denmark.
• 9-11 September 2016. Oxford, United Kingdom.
• 12-16 September 2016. Madrid, Spain.
