Registration for Flexibility and contact geometry conference

The upcoming conference, “Flexibility and contact geometry” now has its own dedicated webpage where you can find the finalised list of speakers and the outline of the schedule. It also contains information on how to register. Whilst registration is free, it is essential so that we know how large an audience to prepare for. Lunch will be provided free of charge to all registered attendees.

Summer school on symplectic topology, sheaves and mirror symmetry

The 2016 IMJ-PRG Summer School on the topic of “Symplectic topology, Sheaves and Mirror Symmetry” will take place at the Jussieu campus of the Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu, Paris Rive Gauche (IMJ-PRG) in Paris, from June 27 to July 8, 2016. Marco Zambon to speak in the geometry seminar, 3/11/2015

Marco Zambon, from KU Leuven, will speak in the geometry seminar on Tuesday 3rd November at 2pm. The talk will be in O8.08 on the 8th floor of NO. Please note the unusual room which we are using whilst the Salle de Profs is being renovated.

The department of mathematics is in building NO, on the Campus de la Plaine, of the Université libre de Bruxelles. The geometry group is on the 7th floor. This page has a map of the campus as well as information on how to reach it via public transport. See the STIB website for more information on public transport in Brussels.

Getting here

The department of mathematics is in building NO, on the Campus de la Plaine, of the Université libre de Bruxelles. The geometry group is on the 7th floor. This map shows NO, as well as the metro station Delta and entrance 2, which is right by the stop for the number 71 and 72 buses. The number 95 also stops a short walk from the department. See the STIB website for more information on public transport in Brussels.
