Geometry seminar Valentine’s double bill 14 Feb, Panov and Kurnosov to speak

This Valentine’s day, we will have a double bill of speakers in the geometry seminar. The speakers are Dima Panov and Nikon Kurnosov. The first talk, by Kurnosov, will be from 11-12, in the Salle de Profs. His title is “Absolutely trianalytic tori in hyperkähler manifolds”. Oliver Fabert to speak in geometry seminar, January 24th

Oliver Fabert (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) will speak in the geometry seminar on January 24th, at 13h30, in the Salle Solvay (5th floor building NO). His title is “The Arnold conjecture in infinite dimensions” and his abstract is below. [Read more…]

Getting here

The department of mathematics is in building NO, on the Campus de la Plaine, of the Université libre de Bruxelles. The geometry group is on the 7th floor. This map shows NO, as well as the metro station Delta and entrance 2, which is right by the stop for the number 71 and 72 buses. The number 95 also stops a short walk from the department. See the STIB website for more information on public transport in Brussels.
