Ingrid Daubechies, a mathematician and physicist from Duke University, will give a talk for a general audience at the ULB. The title is “Reconnaissance et restauration de tableaux anciens à l’aide des mathématiques”. The event will take place from 10-12, on Saturday 12 March in Auditorium F of the Forum, on the Campus de la Plaine. Daubechies is a renowned mathematician with a whole host of prizes and this is an excellent opportunity to hear her talk.
Note that there is an entrance fee, of 4 Euros, which is waived for students and members of the “Cycle Altaïr” part of the Centre d’Histoire des Sciences et des Techniques.
