Patrick Weber informal seminar on complex and hypercomplex cohomologies, 4th October

The next informal seminar will be given by our own Patrick Weber. His title is “From complex to hypercomplex cohomologies”. The talk will take place at 2pm in the Salle de Profs (9th floor of building NO). The abstract is below.

We first review some cohomological aspects of complex (non-Kähler) manifolds such as Bott-Chern cohomology, the d-dbar-Lemma and the Frölicher spectral sequence. We then show how to apply these concepts to hypercomplex manifolds, that is manifolds endowed with three integrable almost-complex structures satisfying the quaternionic relations.

The department of mathematics is in building NO, on the Campus de la Plaine, of the Université libre de Bruxelles. The geometry group is on the 7th floor. The department of mathematics is in building NO, on the Campus de la Plaine, of the Université libre de Bruxelles. The geometry group is on the 7th floor. This map shows NO, as well as the metro station Delta and entrance 2, which is right by the stop for the number 71 and 72 buses. The number 95 also stops a short walk from the department.
