Postdoc and PhD positions in geometry at the ULB

The differential geometry group at the ULB has positions open at PhD and postdoc levels. The positions are funded by an “Excellence of Science” grant titled “Symplectic techniques in differential geometry”. The successful candidates will be expected to work on research related to this projet. The positions available are:

  • Postdoc. 2 positions for two years with the possibility to renew for an extra year. Deadline for applications 20th February. Start date negotiable, but before 31 Dec 2018. More information can be found here.
  • PhD. 1 position for four years, full funding with no teaching requirements. Deadline for applications 20th February. Start date October 2018. More information can be found here.

Getting here

The department of mathematics is in building NO, on the Campus de la Plaine, of the Université libre de Bruxelles. The geometry group is on the 7th floor. This map shows NO, as well as the metro station Delta and entrance 2, which is right by the stop for the number 71 and 72 buses. The number 95 also stops a short walk from the department.
