Alex Waldron (Stony Brook, New York) will give a talk in the geometry seminar on May 24th. The title is Four-dimensional Yang-Mills flow, and the seminar will take place at 2pm in the Salle de Profs on the 9th floor of building NO. Alex’s abstract follows.
I will discuss my thesis results on Yang-Mills flow in dimension four, and generalizations. These include long-time existence near the minimum energy, and uniqueness of the Uhlenbeck limit in the unobstructed case.
