Flexibility and contact geometry – at the ULB 14-16 December

The final details are now in place for the upcoming conference Flexibility and Contact Geometry which will be held at the ULB on 14-16 December. Besides some great talks, we will also have the opportunity to watch Strom Borman, Yasha Eliashberg and Emmy Murphy receive a prize from the Académie Royale de Belgique for their recent breakthrough in the existence of contact structures in all dimensions.

There is a dedicated webpage for the conference where you can find more details. Please note that participants must register. It’s free, but necessary so we can provide lunch for everyone. To do so simply email Edwine Lukamba, mentioning the days you will be attending.

The speakers are now all confirmed:

  • Strom Borman
  • Baptiste Chantraine
  • Alvaro Del Pino
  • Yasha Eliashberg
  • Emmanuel Giroux
  • Emmy Murphy
  • Klaus Niederkrüger
  • Fran Presas
  • Margherita Sandon
  • Ivan Smith
