Lower Ricci working group, talk 1

The working group on manifolds with lower bounds on Ricci curvature will start on Wednesday 10th February, 11h-13h in the Salle de Profs. Joel will give the first talk, which will be on Gromov’s precompactness theorem for manifolds with lower bounds on Ricci curvature.

During this meeting we will also fix the schedule of speakers for the other talks. Remember, the idea is for informal talks in which we all ask questions; the speaker is not expected to have mastered the material, the goal is to learn together. If you want to come, but don’t want to give a talk you are more than welcome.

The room is booked for Wednesdays, 11h-13h, every week up to and including the 30th March, by which time we’ll all be experts, surely! The full schedule is available on the reading seminar webpage.
