Geometry postdoc at King’s College London

The following job advert has been put out by Simon Salamon.

A 3-year postdoctoral position is available at King’s College London in association with the Simons’ collaboration “Special Holonomy in Geometry, Analysis, and Physics”. You can find more information at this site:

The successful candidate could start immediately. The deadline is 22 January, but to be considered it suffices to fill in and submit a simple 2-page word document by midnight that Sunday.

PhD and postdoc positions in symplectic geometry, at Bochum, Cologne and Münster

A new “Collaborative Research Centre” has been announced focusing on Symplectic Structures in Geometry, Algebra and Dynamics at the Universities of Bochum, Cologne and Münster. This will fund 8 postdoctoral and 17 Ph.D positions. More details on the positions and the goals of the research project can be found here. Note that the deadline for applications is the 6th January 2017.

The department of mathematics is in building NO, on the Campus de la Plaine, of the Université libre de Bruxelles. The geometry group is on the 7th floor. This page has a map of the campus as well as information on how to reach it via public transport. See the STIB website for more information on public transport in Brussels.

The department of mathematics is in building NO, on the Campus de la Plaine, of the Université libre de Bruxelles. The geometry group is on the 7th floor. This map shows NO, as well as the metro station Delta and entrance 2, which is right by the stop for the number 71 and 72 buses. The number 95 also stops a short walk from the department. See the STIB website for more information on public transport in Brussels.
