The abstract is below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On the geometry of Bun_G near infinity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Let Bun_G be the moduli stack of G-bundles on a compact Riemann surface.\u00a0After reviewing (and motivating) the notion of &#8220;temperedness&#8221; appearing in the geometric Langlands program, I will discuss the proof of a conjecture of Gaitsgory stating that the constant D-module on Bun_G is anti-tempered.\u00a0No prior familiarity with geometric Langlands will be assumed; rather, I&#8217;ll emphasize some key ingredients that might be of broader interest: a Serre duality in an unusual context and various cohomology vanishing computations.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dario Beraldo will talk on 14th November, at 1.45pm UK time, or 2.45pm Belgian time.
