Yevgeny&#8217;s title is <em>&#8220;Foliations of 3-manifolds of positive scalar curvature by surfaces of controlled size&#8221;<\/em> and his abstract is below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Foliations of 3-manifolds of positive scalar curvature by surfaces of controlled size.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Let M be a compact 3-manifold with scalar curvature at least 1. We show that\u00a0there exists a Morse function f on M, such that every connected component of every fiber\u00a0of f has genus, area and diameter bounded by a universal constant. The proof uses Min-Max theory and Mean Curvature Flow. This is a joint workwith Davi Maximo.
