The title of Carlo&#8217;s talk is &#8220;<em>The Hitchin-cscK system<\/em>&#8221; and the abstract is below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Hitchin-cscK system<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A classic result in the study of K\u00e4hler metrics with special curvature properties is that the cscK equation can be realized as the moment map equation for an infinite-dimensional K\u00e4hler reduction. We present a natural hyperk\u00e4hler extension of this moment map picture, obtaining a new system of equations reminiscent of Hitchin&#8217;s equations for Higgs bundles.
